I spend most of my free time (whatever time I can get anyway) cooking, baking, or thinking about cooking and baking. Or something like that. I love to entertain, and I love to experience all the different foods I can. Yes, I am a vegetarian, but I do cook meat-meals – thankfully my friends and family actually enjoy being my guinea pigs! It’s due to that, that I’ve started this site, as I get requests for recipes and food info on a daily basis.
So here I am. Hopefully you can take some of the things I post and incorporate them into your kitchen, and I really look forward to learning from you out there too.
Some additional background on me and my culinary life:
-yep, I am a vegetarian, and have been since I was a kid
-I am also allergic (intollerant) to soy, carrots, licorice, and aloe … makes being an athletic veggie difficult at the best of times
-many of my friends are gluten-free or dairy-free so it’s always a good time trying to find some place where we can all eat out
-I spend hours in the kitchen and skip TV (weird, I know, but hey, I work in TV so I don’t miss much)
-my favourite things in life usually are accompanuied by a fine bottle of vino
